Divorce is tough. What to do with your home shouldn’t be.
I help people in hard seasons turn “I don’t know where to start” into “I’ve got this.” Let’s make smart, confident decisions about your home and your next chapter.
I’m Rebecca Cleckler, and I’ve been where you are.
I know what it feels like to have your whole world flipped upside down and wonder how you’re going to hold it all together.
These days, I help other women get through that same mess, one honest conversation at a time. I’m a licensed mortgage loan officer and the Director of the Alabama Chapter of the National Association of Divorce Professionals (fancy title, I know). But mostly, I’m just really good at helping you sort through the chaos and figure out what makes the most sense for you. I bridge the gap between emotion and logic, helping you create a plan that protects your peace and your pocket.
Most people call an attorney, a counselor, or a realtor the second things start to unravel. But before you jump into all that, you need someone who can help you pause, look at the full picture, and figure out what actually makes sense.
That’s where I come in.
When all feels wrong, the smartest first step is getting grounded. I’ll help you strengthen your financial footing and make a plan that actually feels doable. Whether that means staying in your home, selling, or starting fresh, we’ll make a plan that feels solid - emotionally and financially.
I’m not here to sell you anything. I’m here to help you breathe, run the numbers, and get clear on what’s smart for you, your home, and your next chapter.
My 4-Step Process
Divorce comes with enough stress — your home shouldn’t be one of them. I keep things simple and judgment-free, so you always know what’s next and why it matters. Here’s the quick process I use to help you go from overwhelmed to in control.
-
We start with a simple, judgment-free chat. Tell me what’s going on — I’ll listen.
-
I’ll help you look at the real numbers (not the ones that make you panic). We’ll figure out what’s actually doable.
-
We’ll map out your smartest next steps — what’s doable, what’s not, and what gets you the most stability moving forward.
-
When it’s all said and done, you’ll know you made smart decisions — and I’ll be the one popping the bubbly right beside you.
You don’t have to do this alone.
If you’re staring at paperwork, emails, and court dates wondering what comes next, I’ve got you.
Let’s take it one step at a time, together.
